  • Work closely with the client and client’s legal and tax advisors to identify appropriate estate planning goals for incapacity and death, for the grantor and his/her beneficiaries
  • Implement client objectives within the confines of the trust document, court order or operating agreement
  • Maintain residence and other real estate using outside property managers if needed
  • Pay bills and collect income
  • Ensure recordkeeping of all asset and cash transactions
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns
  • Maintain communications with family members and designated interested persons
  • Provide annual accountings to trust and estate beneficiaries
  • Work with investment and property managers to ensure investment policy statements are established and maintained
